Sam Scorer is pleased to announce that we will be accepting applications for an Open Exhibition from 1st August 2018, closing date for entries is 24th August 2018.

 

Entrance Criteria:

Entry is open to anyone over the age of 16.

2D work only; Paintings, Drawings, Original Prints and Photography can all be entered (sound installations, moving images, and 3D work cannot be accommodated)

Work must have been completed within the last three years.

Selected work must be available for sale, a 20 % commission will be charged on all sales.

Works must not measure over 2 meters on any dimension due to limited space in the gallery.

Up to three works can be submitted per artist. 

Submissions are free, but there is a £10 hanging fee for each selected work.

 

How to Enter:

Please email a high resolution jpeg image of each artwork to be considered to samscorergallery@gmail.com. Each image should be titled with your surname, initial, and title of the work in that order.

Please include your name, a contact telephone number, and list the works you are submitting including; title of works, media, artists price and size/dimensions in centimetres. 

Selection will be undertaken by members of the gallery management committee.

 

Disclaimer:

If work is selected it should be bought to the gallery between 9:00-10:30 on 10th September 2018. If this is not possible, individual arrangements can be made. 

The hanging fee should be paid when the work is bought in. It is your responsibility to ensure that the work is professionally presented and that any glazing is totally secure. If work is not judged to be framed acceptably it will not be hung.

You are responsible for arranging appropriate insurance cover for your work.

If your work is selected we may use photography of the work on the gallery web site on social media and in press releases, and by submitting your work you are agreeing to our using it for these purposes.
