ROSALIND BLISS, CLIVE REDSHAW AND RACHEL WOOD

 

An exhibition of three artists whose works have been inspired by a love of the

landscape.

 

ROSALIND BLISS, whose studio is in a small Derbyshire hamlet, shows her

paintings expressing the shape and colour of the countryside often using

folding screens for her surface. She will also show some of her beautiful wood

engravings including copies of her illustrated book ‘Miss Margaret Beardsley of

Ivy Cottage’.

 

CLIVE REDSHAW. A well- known Lincolnshire painter whose work depicts a

rhythmic lyricism and colour drenched view of nature displaying his love of

plants and the countryside. A much admired and collected artist.

RACHEL WOOD is an award winning Ceramicist whose studio is based at the

Harley Gallery in Nottinghamshire. Her highly collectable work, hand built and

thrown, display a sensitivity and deep technical knowledge. With her love of

the colour, shape and texture of the landscape she creates tactile, unique and

beautifully earthy pots.
